Our fine art prints are created using the giclee printing process (pronounced “gee-clay”) . These prints are created from high-resolution digital images using the finest quality pigmented ink and acid-free archival paper with a luster finish and delicate sparkle. This yields color, saturation and image detail remarkably close to the original painting. Many museums such as the Metropolitan in New York and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles collect giclee prints for their permanent exhibits.
The giclee process yields archival prints that may last up to half a century or more without any noticeable fading. The actual print longevity will vary according to UV light exposure and atmospheric conditions such as humidity. For maximum longevity, prints should be displayed under glass or clear acrylic sheet.
