Care for Prints & Banners

Care directions for prints and banners are provided below for your use. ReligiousFineArts.com assumes no liability for any loss and/or damage caused by routine wear or misuse of any fine art print or banner, or improper laundering of a banner.

CARE FOR FINE ART PRINTS

As with any work of art, our fine art prints must be handled with care. Avoid direct contact with the print surface. Do not use cleaning products on them as this will damage the print. If they become wet with water spray or spillage, dry by dabbing with a dry cloth. For maximum print life, display prints under glass or clear acrylic. In addition, avoid displaying the print in direct sunlight, ultraviolet light, direct heat sources, high humidity, or dusty environments. Do not hang outdoors.

CARE FOR VINYL BANNERS

Our vinyl banners can be displayed either indoors or outdoors. They can last outdoors without fading for up to 3 years or more in normal weather conditions. The actual longevity outdoors depends on local environmental conditions, including UV exposure.

CARE FOR FABRIC BANNERS

Please read the fabric care directions below before washing, drying or ironing a fabric banner purchased from ReligiousFineArts.com. ReligiousFineArts.com is not responsible for wear or damage to fabric banners due to improper display, washing, drying, ironing, or storage.

Banner Display:

Our fabric banners are printed on 100% polyester using dye sublimation printing techniques. Each banner has a solid white backing, so the artwork is only viewable from the front side. Our fabric banners can be displayed indoors or outdoors. But they are not intended for outdoor display during adverse weather conditions or for extended periods of time. For the best results, DO NOT expose your fabric banner to rain, snow or abnormally high winds. This can shorten the banner’s life considerably. Should the banner become wet, hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. DO NOT fold or roll up a wet or damp fabric banner.

Polyester fabrics are subject to melting and require lower water temperatures and iron settings when laundering. Excessive heat, loading, and leaving too long in dryer may harm the fabric. See specific directions below for wrinkle removal and laundering.

Wrinkle Removal:

For wrinkle removal from shipping or storage, hand or machine rinse gently in cold water, then tumble dry on lowest heat setting. DO NOT use any fabric softeners, either liquid form or dryer sheets such as Bounce. Remove immediately from dryer to prevent wrinkling. Iron lightly as needed on low heat on the back (non-printed) side of banner. DO NOT iron on image side of banner. For additional protection during ironing, lay a piece of cotton or terrycloth on top of banner so iron does not make direct contact with the polyester fabric.

Always make sure banner is completely dry before storing. DO NOT fold or roll up a wet or damp banner.

Washing Directions:

DO NOT dry clean or press. DO NOT use bleach. DO NOT use any fabric softeners, either liquid form or dryer sheets (such as Bounce). Hand wash in cold water, or machine wash in cold water using delicate setting. Use mild detergent. Tumble dry on lowest heat setting.
